This project template is identical to the YouTube Video template, but it has all the [Tutorial Blocks] that provide extra explanations for how to do things. Once you're comfortable with everything included in the project template, I'd recommend working off of the other YouTube Video template so you don't have all those tutorial blocks in your way.
Project Details
Topic Validation gives you a full worksheet where you can rigorously study your topic/idea’s potential, brainstorm titles and thumbnails, and see SEO date. Related Content allows you to plan content on other channels that is “related” to this project - e.g. companion blog posts, social media snippets, etc.

The linked database you see here is a linked view of the All Notes [UB] database, so you’ll see notes added here in your Recents area of the page.
The views: Project will show only notes directly added to this content project. Pulls will also bring in outside notes - use the Pulled Resources and Pulled Notes properties above (hidden by default) to search for individual notes or entire Resources to bring in.
KW Research view will bring in any notes associated with this project’s Focus Keywords. Set those up in the page properties.
A dedicated Script page is also provided in this project template. You’re free to create notes in the Notes database above for scripts as well, but I’ve provided a dedicated page so you can Favorite the entire project and easily navigate to your Script using the Notion sidebar.
Checklists
The YouTube Video project templates comes with a couple example checklists. These are synced with the checklists on .
Before working on one of these checklists on an individual project, I recommend Unsyncing the synced block so the master checklist on is not affected.

Here you can lock in your video’s final title and write up a description. A Code block is provided for the description, as copying and pasting normal Text blocks from Notion to YouTube will result in formatting errors.

Project Tasks
Tasks added here are added to the master database, so they’ll show up in your normal task views on pages like . You can give tasks Due Dates so they’ll show up on pages such as , or add them to Smart Lists so they’ll show on your GTD-style lists such as .
B-Roll
The B-Roll List is a standalone database that is created with each new content project. Here, you can plan out B-roll and other content for your videos. You can also use this like a shot list.
Why isn’t there a master B-Roll/Shot List database in Creator’s Companion?
This database is not a master linked database like most others in Creator’s Companion because is it meant to work with CSV imports from tools like Frame.io, which can append timestamps to your comments on a draft upload. Unfortunately, importing a CSV will cause the imported rows to ignore all filters - such as a filter to Relate those rows with a specific project. As a result, a master B-Roll database is unworkable unless you never use CSV imports.
