Surface to Air

Co-founder & CTO of Surface to Air (New York/Paris), a design studio providing website and design services for major and independent media companies in publishing, music, film, and fashion across Europe, the US, and Asia. Website clients included Source Records, National Alliance of Breast Cancer Organizations, Spoon Magazine, MoMA, Independent Pictures, and Virgin UK. The studio worked with and exhibited artists including Donald Baechler, Banksy, Julian Schnabel, Futura 2000, and Alejandro Jodorowsky, and musicians including Amon Tobin, Feist, Gonzales, and Phoenix.

Flip the Script

SURFACE TO AIR comissioned 50 artists from New York, London, and Paris to recreate, reinterpret, reinvent, reshape, and remix a poster for a film of their choosing. Images from the oversized printed book are displayed online in an easy to browse gallery format with the purchase option courtesy of PayPal.
